Examination of the Satisfaction Levels of Education Faculty Students on the Quality of Faculty Life According to Different Variables |

The purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction levels of the students of Faculty of Education about the quality of faculty life with
respect to different variables. ‘The Quality of School Life Scale' originally developed by Epstein and McPartland (1976) and adapted into
Turkish by Yılmaz and Çokluk & Bökeoğlu (2006) was used to gather data. A total of 287 students studying at Mehmet Akif University
Faculty of Education in 2012-2013 academic year participated in the study. Results revealed that students' satisfaction levels on the quality
of faculty life were of medium level. Students' satisfaction levels on the quality of faculty life differed significantly according to their grade
level, where as their satisfaction levels did not differ significantly according to gender, age, and receiving scholarship variables. Suggestions
were presented to increase the satisfaction levels of the students in terms of the quality of faculty life at the end of the research.
