A Study on Determining the Relationship Between Psychological Capital and Job Satisfaction: A Case of Hakkari University in Turkey

Psychological Capital is a new concept, with each component having a prolonged history. This concept related to the organizational field has been accepted for understanding the organization’s behaviour in our country as well as all over the world. Our study was aimed to examine the relationship between psychological capital and job satisfaction levels through demographic variables. Fieldwork has been conducted with valid 151 out of 176 surveys collected from 205 academic staff who are at such different titles as Professor, A/Prof. Assist. Prof., Lecturer and Research Assist. being works at Hakkari University, which was established in 2008. The data of the study were obtained from the surveys conducted with the voluntary academic staff, and these data were analyzed by using the SPSS 23.0 program. p
