I would like to share the honor of publication of the Journal of Higher Education and Science from our region (Heraclea Pontica/Karadeniz Ereğli in Zonguldak Province) where Heraklides, who studied at Academia founded by Plato, was born and established a prestigious school.

Our Journal is published in order to establish a scientific discussion platform on all subjects related to higher education.

We present you the first issue including studies some of which are about history of higher education in Turkey, Atatürk and the university reform, and development of Turkish higher education.
